ADHD in adults

Many people only learn about ADHD in adulthood, when difficulties with concentration, organisation and impulsivity begin to get in the way of work or relationships. At Sonar Clinic, ADHD assessment in adults is carried out by a psychologist: it includes the structured clinical interview DIVA-5 and an in-depth interview, and results in a written psychological report. According to the price list, ADHD assessment for adults costs PLN 850 (180 min); psychological consultations and ADHD coaching for adults are also available.

The psychological report is the basis for a consultation with a psychiatrist, who makes the clinical diagnosis and decides on any medication. At Sonar Clinic, psychiatric consultations are provided only for children and adolescents, so adult patients book a psychiatrist outside the clinic.

What the assessment process looks like and where to start is described in the guide ADHD diagnosis in adults.
